As many of you know, the injured alpaca found by Boulder County Sheriff's Office on November 1, 2016, was impounded here at the farm.  Well, her owner never came forward for her, so custody was finally given to Knick O'Time Horse and Barnyard Rescue, and now we are on a mission to raise funds for her extensive medical needs!

She arrived with a very serious right eye injury, and requires surgery to remove the eye.  Her prognosis is excellent for a full recovery, however the rescue sure could use some help with raising the funds for her surgery and post-op care!

And, yes, she will be available for adoption once she has fully recovered from her surgery.

As most of you know, we are a small rescue, with 100% volunteer "staff" - we have no paid positions!  KOTHRR is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, and all donations are tax deductible!  Any help would be much appreciated!

Great update for our famous little alpaca! 

The surgery to remove her injured right eye was Saturday, November 19th, and all went smoothly and uneventfully! Fingers crossed her recovery goes as well!!

Huge shout of gratitude to the professionalism and collaborative efforts of Dr Richard Wheeler of Poudre River Veterinary Clinic and Dr Michelle Dally of Dally Veterinary Medicine LLC. Their surgical precision, expertise, generosity and compassion were absolutely perfect today. We are incredibly grateful!
