Rescue Horses (and barnyard critters) Currently Available for Adoption:
"Sugar" is a very sweet, young miniature mare. She is approximately
36" tall, and is not registered. She is 4 years old, and is easy to
catch, trim, load, etc. She is not broke to ride or drive, however is
very gentle and should be a very easy mare to train. She is good
around children, other animals and gets along with just about

about everyone! Her adoption fee is $450. Current on vaccinations,
worming, trims, etc. Adoption contract and fee required.

approximately 35" tall, and is not registered. She is 5 years old, and

is good around children, other animals and gets along with just
about everyone! One Eye is true to her name, and is missing an eye,
but don't let that fool you~ she is very quiet, not spooky on her blind
side and has no issues around missing an eye. She is available to a
special home, where people will not be put off by her lack of
perfection and facial symmetry! She gets along with everyone, is
easy to work with in all ways and she is very well adjusted to her
missing eye. We don't know what happened to her, however, she
has likely lived with her disability for quite a while, and she has no
problems getting caught, handled, etc.

Adopt a Goat!
Seeking Safe and Loving Homes for Pet and Companion Goats. Goats available for
adoption all year round. Goat adoption fees generally range from $50-$75 each, and
discounts are always offered when 2 or more are adopted together! Occasionally
goat adoption fees will be higher or lower, depending on individual circumstances.
Adopt a Yard Bird!
Several varieties of barnyard birds available for adoption~ Currently we have primarily
geese (male) and roosters available~ occasionally we do get healthy laying hens,
ducks, female geese, and other fowl. Adoption fees vary, however are reasonable and
in some cases, may be waived all together.

While the below horses are not rescues, with every RoanOake Farm horse sold, a
donation will be made to KOTHRR to support their ongoing horse rescue efforts.
